Two ETMA Awards 2016 for Neopac

2016 is an anniversary year: the tube is 175 years old. What painter John Rand once invented to keep his self-mixed colours fresher is now an established form of packaging for cosmetics, pharmaceutics, dental hygiene and food. Around 12 billion tubes are produced each year in Europe, out of aluminium, plastic laminate and single plastic.

Last week, the jury of the European Tube Manufacturing Association (ETMA) met and rewarded the most innovative tubes. Neopac won two prizes: the Polywood tube in the polyethylene category, and the Spin'n'dose applicator in the prototype category. Polywood is a tube with real wood content, which you can actually feel and smell. Spin'n'dose is a new applicator for the easy and precise dosage of high viscosity products without a pump. We look forward to new rewards as an innovative tube manufacturer.
